Danny French sets down a beer at the Crawdad Hole and hears the voice she never forgot.
JACQUES returns to Bayou Mambaloa with romantic suspense built on one terrifying memory. Four men walk in, one voice cuts through the noise, and Danny’s private hunt for the monster who drugged her stops feeling private.

A Ranger tab under a coffee can makes every Bayou Mambaloa rumor look lazy.
In JACQUES, Danny French is known as the redhead slinging beer at the Crawdad Hole, but her kitchen is hiding the part of her story nobody earned the right to see. Romantic suspense, bayou secrets, and a heroine who has been listening for one voice too long.

It’s that time of year when I look toward the next year. I can’t believe we’re almost three-quarters of the way through 2026! I’ve been busy coming up with my book schedule, book covers, blurbs and more for 2027. I like to open preorders early so readers can lock in on my upcoming stories.
I’m a very creative person in both my writing and other artsy activities. Another creative outlet of mine is designing my own book covers. I taught myself Photoshop and love making my own covers. I have complete artistic control over the process.
What do you think of the covers for 2027?
I’ll have two new series. Lone Wolf Heritage, based in South Dakota, starts in December 2026 with CHIEF. Brotherhood Protectors Island Guard with Rising Mist, based in Washington’s San Juan Islands, starts in March. I’ll also continue the Brotherhood Protectors Stealth Operations Specialists series with three more books.
I’m going to be very busy!

January 2027 PHANTOM Stealth Operations Specialists #5 |
