Bandit!
So, I’m not feeling so good. The big dog next door gave me and Bodie kennel cough. I think Bodie has it worse. He coughed all night long. Mom took us to the vet and got medicine. I don’t like medicine. She tries to hide it in peanut butter. I like peanut butter, but I know what she’s doing. When she gets the peanut butter out, I run and hide. I just want to go back to bed and snuggle between the pillows. Please make this cough go away. I like laying in bed all day when I don’t feel good, don’t you? If I could read, I might even read a book in bed. I hope you feel good and get to read lots of books.

Mom’s been busy, which is good for me and Bandit. It means we go for a while without a good bath and brushing. Sigh. She finally caught up with us and gave us both a bath. Not fun! But I really love being blow-dried. Mom stands me on her bathroom counter in front of the mirror and I get to bark and growl at that dog in the glass. I’m fierce! Mom calls me the Tazmanian Devil when I get all wound up. She might be right. But I’m protecting her and showing that other dog who’s the boss! Yeah, and I come out top dog, clean and groomed. I call that a win-win! Hope you’re well and happy and reading Mom’s books! (more treats for us!)
