Bandit here. It’s been a crazy week. Mom took me and Charli to visit her brother and his wife in South Central Arkansas. And they have outside cats! I love to bark at them. Charli can’t be heard over my loud barks. That’s why I bark so loud. My barks are much more ferocious. The cats are so afraid. Well, maybe not, but I like to think they are. And the big dogs next door need to hear me too, It’s important that they know I’m here and I’m tough. Charli and I love Mom’s brother. We like it when he scratches our ears and let us lay in his lap.
We hope you love Mom’s new book. She worked really hard on it. And she buys us treats when we’re good and let her write. Charli and I hope you’re happy and reading lots of lovely books! Happy Spring!

Charli here. I’m doing so much better. But, yes, I look scruffy. Wouldn’t you after nearly dying? The vet clinic shaved my other side so I look really weird. Mom’s taking me to the groomer today. I don’t like it when she leaves me. She hopes they can trim me up and make me look less scruffy. Read on! And wish me luck! Love you guys.
